Evan Peters thinks Quicksilver will return in X-Men: Apocalypse
Quicksilver has godlike powers in X-Men: Days of Future Past. He could have simply saved everybody the trouble by just finding Mystique and locking her up instead of freeing Magneto from prison. Evan Peters, who played the mutant speedster, has said that he thinks his character will be appearing in X-Men: Apocalypse, during an interview with I Am Rogue. I’m hoping they tone down his powers, since he could probably stop Apocalypse easily.
Peters said “”I think so, yes. I assume it as well, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to say and not supposed to say…I haven’t seen a script.”
He also mentions that he doesn’t know when production starts.
“No. We’ll see. I think…I don’t know what I can say and what I can’t say. All I can say is that I have not seen a script yet.”
So far we know James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, and Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique are returning. Newcomers include Sophie Turner as young Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as young Cyclops, Alexandra Shipp as young Storm, Kodi Smit-McPhee as young Nightcrawler, and Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse.
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27, 2016.
