Matthew Vaughn tells us what he thinks about the Fantastic Four reboot

Matthew Vaughn

Matthew Vaughn is a well known director and no stranger to the superhero genre that’s enveloping Hollywood right now. If you didn’t know, he directed Xmen: First Class, which was the prequel to the original X-Men and Wolverine movies. He’s also directed the upcoming spy movie, Kingsman: The Secret Service. Matthew Vaughn is also attached as producer to the Fantastic Four reboot that’s slated to come out in August of this year, and he’s already seen the final product.

The guys over at Flickering Myth got in touch with Mr. Vaughn and here are his thoughts after seeing the movie.

I’ve seen the movie, it’s good,” Vaughn told us. I thought Chronicle was a fantastic movie and [Josh] Trank has gone off and done his version of Fantastic Four. If you like Chronicle, then you’ll like this. We’re all backing Josh Trank’s vision, and hopefully the world will like Josh Trank’s vision.”

Despite some of the negative press that’s surrounding this reboot, it looks like Matthew Vaughn’s opinion could be the shining light that some are looking for. What do you guys think? Do you think Matthew Vaughn’s statement will sway the naysayers out there? Sound off below!
