The Call of Duty Championship returns to Los Angeles in March

Call of Duty Champiton 2015Xbox fans and Call of Duty fanatics can look forward to a live stream of the Call of Duty Championship toward the end of March. The best of the best will be returning to Los Angeles for the third annual Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox.

The championship will take place March 27th to 29th, where 32 of the best Call of Duty teams from around the globe will battle it out in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The winners will get full bragging rights as Call of Duty “World Champions.” Along with that title the winning team will get to claim a $1 million prize. For parents that told their kids that playing video games was a waste of time, you can now be quiet and have slice of humble pie.

This year’s tournament will have a lot of coverage for all the nonstop excitement, all leading up to the championship match that will be live streamed on Xbox Live as well as with other broadcasting partners. When asked about the tournament Glen Schofield, Co-Founder and Studio Head, Sledgehammer Games had this to say, “We developed Advanced Warfare with the competitive community in mind, and we can’t wait for the top talent from around the world to compete in the Call of Duty Championships.”
