Fantastic Four 2 release date pushed up

Fox is so confident that the Fantastic Four reboot is going to be a hit that it has already announced the release date for Fantastic Four 2. The original release date was supposed to be July 14, 2017, but now it’s moving on up to June 2, 2017 (via TheWrap).

The film has been met with a lot of criticism due. One includes Johnny Storm being played by a black actor, Michael B. Jordan, and the other is the different take on the team’s origin compared to the original comic book. In addition, fans are hoping that the rumor of the villain, Doctor Doom, having the name of Victor Domashev is false.

With that said, who’s excited?

“THE FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways.Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.”
