Did you enjoy Transformers: Age of Extinction? Did you enjoy Mark Wahlberg taking over Shia Labeouf’s spot as the main human lead? If you are, then this piece of news should be interesting for you. If you’re not, then you’re screwed, because director Michael Bay will likely keep on doing these films as long as they make Hasbro and Paramount a lot of money. The people have voted with their dollars.

During the promotion of The Gambler, Wahlberg told MTV News whether he had a contract to do more Transformers films.

“Yeah, I committed to doing a couple more,” he said.

Wahlberg played the over-protective father and inventor in Age of Extinction. He was able to help Optimus Prime and the Autobots prevent the extinction of mankind.

It’s still not certain whether Bay would be returning as director, but Wahlberg said that he’ll be on set soon.

“I can’t speak for Mr. Bay, but something tells me we’ll be on the set soon,” Wahlberg said.

Transformers 5 hits theaters June 24, 2016.
