Syfy’s Krypton, the pre-Superman series, gets a logo and synopsis

DC is on a roll with its live-action series lineup. We have Gotham on FOX, Arrow and The Flash on The CW, and Constantine on NBC. Soon we’ll have Supergirl on CBS and Titans on TNT. In addition, we’ll also be getting a pre-Superman series called Krypton on Syfy.

According to THR, Syfy and Warner Horizon Television are teaming up with David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight Trilogy) and Ian Goldberg (Once Upon a Time) to help produce the pre-Superman series that takes place on Superman’s home planet of Krypton. With this news, we also have the official logo and the synopsis.

“From Warner Horizon Television and DC Comics, Krypton takes place years before the Superman legend we know, when the House of El was shamed and ostracized. This drama follows the Man of Steel’s grandfather as he brings hope and equality to Krypton, turning a planet in disarray into one worthy of giving birth to the greatest Super Hero ever known.”

Krypton follows Gotham‘s suit by having a show take place before a popular DC hero becomes a legend.

Hmm, as for the logo, it looks like cave man fonts to me. What do you guys think?
