CBS officially announced that it’s working on a Supergirl TV series with producer Greg Berlanti (Arrow, The Flash). Even though Berlanti is working on the show, it was assumed that we wouldn’t see Supergirl on the same screen with Arrow and The Flash, since crossovers between two networks are very rare.

Now KSiteTV has stumbled on an interesting piece of information in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly revealing that all three characters may share the same universe.

“Later in the afternoon at his other office on the Warner Bros. lot, Berlanti meets with fellow producer Ali Adler and Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood to go over looks for their upcoming revamp of Supergirl. The show will follow 24-year-old Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin, and with a twist that that could melt fanboy brains, Berlanti says it’s possible this Supergirl could enter the worlds of Arrow and The Flash.”

Fans are already excited to see the crossover event between Arrow and The Flash on December 2nd, but with Berlanti running the show, it’s very possible that we’ll get to see Kara Zor-El crossing over as well.
