Top 10 must-have Halloween treats

Move over pumpkin spice, you are not the only treat that’s coming from the fall. In fact, you may be missing out on some of the other delicious treats during Pumpkin-mania. Never fear! Here’s a list of Must-Eats!

1. Ghostbusters Donuts (Krispy Kreme)

Yes, that’s right! Krispy Scream has done it! Along with their usual spook-tacular flavors like the cobweb, Halloween sprinkle, and pumpkin donuts that we usually look forward to, they added two delicious Ghostbusters-inspired donuts! You can prove ‘you ain’t afraid of no ghosts’ now until October 31st. Each are stuffed with the infamous Stay Puft Marshmallow Cream and well worth the wait!

2. GloBalls

Hostess is back in full force, and thank God, nobody wants to know what I did for my last Snoball. No longer must I black market my dirty little secret. Not only is it back… it’s glowing. In honor of the season, you can pick up your very own bright orange GloBalls. Hostess is also providing a variety of Halloween-themed treats. Eat them all… except the orange-filled Twinkies, unless that’s your thing. I won’t judge you.

3. Bag of Bones Cheetos

Now don’t think the savory section of snacks are being neglected. Nope. With glow-in-the-dark packaging and bone-shaped pieces, Cheetos has stepped up to the plate to make you feel like a delightful giant.

4. Takis Zombie Nitro

Takis is totally a late night snack. So, what if it was bright green? And what if it had the flavor of cucumber and habanero? That would make it a perfect pick-me-up when you are feeling like a zombie. I know it works for me!

5. Halloween Oreos

There’s just something about these bright orange beauties that makes them 100 percent better than normal Oreos. Maybe it’s the cute Halloween shapes stamped in. Or maybe it’s your imagination, hmm?

8. Newcastle Werewolf Blood Red Ale

An oldie but a goodie. Newcastle’s Halloween treat is consistently good, and a more solid choice than the Pumpkin Ale that is forbidden at my house.

9. Zombie Zin

A great way to end a night is with a nice glass of wine. Why not make it Zombie Zin? After all, “wine calm” is similar to a zombie state.

10. Any Voodoo Doughnut Ale

A bright pink bottle with an adorable voodoo doll and fun flavors like maple bacon, pretzel, raspberry, and chocolate.  It’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Halloween, in my humble opinion, is the best holiday. Filled scrumptious goodies and devilish delights, you could eat and drink your way through these treats. I guarantee your Halloween will be so good, it’s scary.
