Ray Fisher didn’t know about his solo Cyborg film

Ray Fisher will be playing Cyborg/Victor Stone in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film. Even though Warner Bros. announced that Cyborg would be getting his own movie, apparently Fisher didn’t even know about it, according to an interview he did with Entertainment Weekly.

“I didn’t know the extent to which DC and WB had planned on taking my character,” he said,”‘When I signed on, I just wanted to be part of this world. But that specific in formation, I found out then and there. I didn’t think I’d be getting my own stand alone film.”

He found out that the solo movie was going to happen just a few hours after it was publicly announced. If that’s the case, I’m guessing Parker doesn’t like to read his contracts.

When asked about his role, he couldn’t say much. He did, however, mentioned that he met up with Ben Affleck (Batman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) and Jesse Eissenberg (Lex Luthor) on set. He didn’t get a chance to meet all of the team members though.

“I met everyone in the Justice League except Henry Cavill and Ezra Miller.”

Fisher then talked about how Hollywood isn’t as stressful as he thought.

“You get this idea of going to work on a Hollywood set as being really stressful and nerve-wracking. But it blew that stereotype away. If they did have stressful times, it wasn’t while I was there.”

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
