Disney’s Halloween costume lineup wows!

Halloween is the best time of year. People are dying to know what the most popular costumes will be for this year. Nerd Reactor was invited to the VIP Disney Halloween event to see what’s in store for your little monsters and yourselves this season! Disney set up a pop shop, where all ages could grab this year’s costumes.

The afternoon was filled with story time, games, make-up artists, and delectable treats! Mickey and Minnie showed up in their Halloween wear to delight the kids. Goblins and Ghouls could snack on a buffet of yummy treats and decorate their very own Halloween cookie!

The real stars of the show were the costumes. A fashion show showed off all the new looks that will be gracing your doors and convention halls this Halloween. For the tiniest of trick or treaters, there’s the Disney Junior Line of costumes. Cute as a button costumes, ranging from classics like Mickey and Minnie to Disney Jr. favorites like Jack and the Neverland Pirates and Doctor McStuffins.

Now to get real with classic Star Wars icons. These were my personal favorites, because they were so well made, nostalgic, and fresh!

As most of us know, Disney got ‘Marvelous’ when they obtained Marvel. Now, Disney’s Marvels costumes are available – including Star-Lord and Black Widow. The Star-Lord outfit was very screen accurate – every detail was included including the mask.

Disney didn’t forget your other family member. Now, your furry companions can dress in costume too. Modeled by adoptable rescues, Disney premiered four new looks including Princess Leia and Winnie the Pooh for your best friend.

The day was filled with so many treats! There was something for everyone. Frozen was definitely the winner of the VIP day, but in my heart, Star-Lord was the best costume this year! I wouldn’t be surprised to see a lot of amazing kids with cassette tapes this Halloween.

I will say the quality has made leaps. The construction is durable and the materials were movie accurate. Well, almost. One things for sure, Disney brought their A-game to Halloween.

You can find all these costumes and more at Disneystore.com or go to your local store to see them in person! Happy Halloween!
