Five reasons you to watch Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles season 3 premier episode!

Check out our list of why you should watch the season premiere of Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.

1. Leonardo

Leonardo has returned. While no one is commenting on Jason Biggs’ exit, Seth Green has stepped in to save the day and to make his superhero-loving wife swoon (Leo is Clare Grant’s favorite Turtle). Maybe it’s the darkness of the episode, or the fact that it’s coming from a true fan, but Seth Green’s intensity is a must see.

2. Jason Voorhees

Yep, you read that right. Jason Voorhees is making an appearance in this upcoming finale. Look out for the subtle hints and enjoy all the fan jokes coming your way. It had me screaming and wailing in pleasure. For the horror fans, this is the ultimate episode to watch titled “ Within the Woods.”

3. Nostalgia

It feels like this episode was written for the original fans, with throwbacks to Voorhees, classic characters, and even a parody of shows like He-Man. It’ll have you remembering why you grew up loving this show, and it helps that one of the original cast members is still on board. With Seth Green on board, we almost see a Robot Chicken style nostalgia, and I hope that continues.

4. Rob Paulsen

Rob Paulsen is a legend. His voice over credits includes Pinky from Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs, Jimmy Neutron and more. And oh yeah, the original Raphael! Now rocking Donatello, the inventor of the bunch, does everything else he lends his voice to like an absolute star.

5. Obsession

The fifth reason you need to see it is because it’s going to be your new obsession! Perhaps you think TMNT is too young for you or that they have nothing new for you, but then you would be wrong. It’s fresh, nostalgic, respectful, and it has something for every age. Although I feel as an adult you may appreciate it even more than younger viewers.

Final Reaction

You need to catch up or jump right in to TMNT if you haven’t already. The season premiere is the perfect place to start, so tune in Friday, September 26th,at 8 pm on Nickelodeon with Season 3 following right behind on October 3rd.
