The Saints go to hell with Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell in 2015
When Saints Row first came out, it was called out for being a Grant Theft Auto clone. Now that developer Volition has taken the series away from the realism and into the absurd, it has been a refreshing and fun roller coaster ride.
After battling aliens and saving the world in Saints Row IV, what can Volition do next to top that? Easy, have the Saints go to hell. The game expansion will be titled Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell.
During PAX Prime, a trailer was revealed showing the Saints getting sucked into Hell thanks to the Ouija board and battle demons. The size of Hell is expected to be half the size of Saints Row IV‘s Steel Port.
The game will feature 2-player online co-op.
If you loved the dubstep gun from SRIV, then expect to see even crazier guns including the Arm Chairmageddon, a La-Z-Boy with guns, the Energy Caster, a Locust Gun and a weapon that fires a plague of frogs.
Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell will be a standalone expansion that won’t require you to have the Saints Row IV game copy. It will retail for $19.99 and will be released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on January 27, 2015.
