First look at Margot Robbie as Jane in live-action Tarzan

Harry Potter director David Yates is directing the live-action Tarzan movie starring Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood) as the title character. Tarzan’s love interest, Jane Porter, will be played by the beautiful Margot Robbie, who can be seen in The Wolf of Wall Street. (I admit I am infatuated with her.)

Just Jared has got the first look photo of Robbie as Jane, which was taken on Wednesday (August 27) in Berkshire, England. Also seen on set were Casper Crump and Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained).

Synopsis: It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.

Tarzan also stars Samuel L. Jackson (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) and Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy).
