Blade Runner is a sci-fi classic film that is well-liked by fans and critics. Prometheus, although not hated by many, hasn’t reached that status yet. Both films were directed by visionary Ridley Scott, and now he’s revealed which of the two sequels he’ll be shooting next after adapting Andy Weir’s sci-fi novel, The Martian, starring Matt Damon.

“It’s written and it’s damn good,” said Scott. “Of course it involves Harrison [Ford], who is a survivor after all these years—despite the accident (referencing the actor’s Star Wars set mishap). So yes, that will happen.”

Ford hasn’t signed on officially, but if him being in the new Star Wars films is any indication, he may likely return to play an older Rick Deckard.

Before The Martian, Scott still has to promote Exodus: Gods and Kings, his upcoming movie about Moses and Ramses. After all those movies are done, he can then continue to work on the sequel to Prometheus.

“That’s the problem,” Scott says. “I’ve got a lot of ducks in a row. But they’re all written.”
