Paramount has announced that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is getting a sequel, thanks to its successful box office opening. It already has a set release date of June 3, 2016. Now that the story of the Shredder has been told (although briefly), what can we expect from the sequel? Many fans have been asking for Bebop and Rocksteady, but there is one villain from the classic cartoon show that director Jonathan Liebesman and producer Brad Fuller have talked about that will get fans excited.

In an interview with Screen Rant, Liebesman and Fuller reveal that Dimension X might be a possibility. With that being a possibility, that means that Krang will likely make an appearance.

“I would love to,” Liebesman said about Dimension X. “I mean it’s not up to me. It’s up to all of us to decide.”

“But we’ve talked about those worlds already,” Fuller added.

“There are scripts that have been written for this movie that integrated those worlds into it already…” Form revealed.

In the cartoon, Krang was banished from Dimension X and lost his body, resulting in him becoming a brain-like creature. With Shredder’s help, he was able to get a big robotic body.

What do you guys think of Krang possibly being in the sequel?
