Legendary comedian Robin Williams passes away at age 63


Legendary comedian and actor Robin Williams died today at the age of 63. Reports have said it was from apparent suicide, but were not confirmed. His publicist issued a statement, “Robin Williams passed away this morning. He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”

Known for his roles as the voice of Genie in Aladdin, Mork & Mindy, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, Hook and for his Best Supporting Actor Oscar win in Good Will Hunting, Williams was a legend in the film industry. With over 100 film and TV credits, Williams was known for his humor and hilarious improvisation skills.

We will miss you, Robin Williams.
