Deadpool creator reacts to leaked test footage
Seems like that leaked Deadpool test footage has created quite a bit of a stir in the online nerd community. So far it has been met with a lot of enthusiasm from fans who have waited too long for this film to become a reality. Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld has been talking about the news all morning with fans and was one of the first people to publicly acknowledge the footage exist about a year ago.
Good morning. Yes, legit. And most importantly, IT WASN’T ME, MA!!

On one of the comic artist’s morning tweets, Liefeld revealed that he was there the day they shot the Deadpool test. Ryan Reynold had done the entire performance in mo-cap and the suit was digitally layered in afterwards.
That is ALL 100% Ryan Reynolds in MO-CAP performance. Suit was digitally layered by Miller and Blur. — robertliefeld (@robertliefeld) July 28, 2014
I was at Blur the day they shot the DP test. Ryan performed all of it, I was exiting as he arrived.

Could it be that they are trying to do motion capture to show off more of Deadpool’s expressions? Let’s all just take a minute and remember how well that all worked out in The Green Lantern…..okay. Still a lot of fans have been really into the test footage and Rob couldn’t be more than happier with its reception. Here’s to hoping we hear some new Deadpool news in the near future.
So pleased that you are all so thrilled. It’s wonderful, right? #deadpool — robertliefeld (@robertliefeld) July 28, 2014
