The Walking Dead’s Frank Darabont in talks to direct Snow White and the Huntsman

Frank Darabont was the showrunner for The Walking Dead TV series on AMC. There were some creative differences between him and AMC, leading to him leaving the show. Now that he’s not working on the show, he has time to work on other projects. According to The Wrap, he’s in talks to helm the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman for a 2016 release.

The sequel has been rumored to have Chris Hemsworth as the main star, with Kristen Stewart not returning as Snow White (she was easily the worst part in the movie).

Since his success as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hemsworth is a hot commodity right now. Even though I’m not a fan of Snow White and the Huntsman, having Frank Darabont involved and Stewart not being involved sound like a good thing.
