Mandalorians will have prominent roles in Star Wars: Episode VII?

If you’re a Star Wars fan, odds are Boba Fett is one of your favorite characters. If you go to a comic book convention, you’re guaranteed to see a cosplayer inspired by Boba Fett. Hell, he was so popular that George Lucas decided to have him appear again in the prequels, only this time as a young clone son of Jango Fett. Now we have news via Latino Review that a source has revealed that the Mandalorians will have bigger roles in the film.

It was rumored before that the jedi would face a group of mercenaries. Now it looks like the Mandalorians may be that group. If you didn’t know, Boba Fett was a Mandalorian. They are very distinct by the armor and helmet they wear.

We also have a rumor of a Sith Witch(es). No details are known, but a female sith sounds exciting and fresh.

Even though Lucasfilm and Disney have announced that the Expanded Universe isn’t canon, Boba Fett could probably still make an appearance, since J.J. Abrams and his team are free to do as they please, as long as it follows the immediate canon.
