Nerd Block is a monthly subscription service that sends out a nerdy mystery box each month, all for just $20 monthly. So far it’s definitely worth it if you’re a fan of nerd collectibles, and if you love geeky t-shirts, then you’re guaranteed at least one each month. (Check out our previous review.) Let’s check out what Nerd Block’s June 2014 box has in store for us.

Let’s get to the thing that everybody wants to know first, the t-shirts. This is the best deal by far, since we’re given not ONE, but TWO t-shirts!

The first one is the Iron Sentinel t-shirt. It’s a mash-up of The Iron Giant animated movie and X-Men. The Iron Giant is replaced by the Sentinel and the Hogarth Hughes, the boy, is replaced by Wolverine.

The second shirt is the Ghostbusters shirt, just in time for the 30th anniversary. It features Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and the quote, “Who you gonna call?”

The collectible items include Doctor Who, Mario Kart, Minecraft and a Nerd Block exclusive.

If you’re a Whovian, then you should be happy to see a Doctor Who vinyl figure mystery box. You can collect the 10th Doctor or TARDIS figure. I opened mine up and received the Weeping Angel. (Who wants to trade?)

Next up is the Mario Kart Racers, perfect for those hyped up about the recent release of Mario Kart 8. The choices of racers include Mario, Toad, Luigi, Yoshi and Donkey Kong. We got Toad.

Here’s the Minecraft sticker.

This one I thought was pretty neat. It’s the Nerd Block Pin Art Game. Do you remember these back in your school days? Now you can bring this portable pin art with you everywhere you go.

As always, not every nerd is the same, but if you’re into X-Men, the Iron Giant, Ghostbusters, Mario or Doctor Who, then you should find something interesting here. And the two t-shirts easily makes this the best Nerd Block by far.
