Get a good look at Master Splinter and Shredder in TMNT concept art

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is almost hitting theaters, and so far we’ve had fans getting upset about the look of the turtles and Shredder being a white dude. Will there be anything to please them? Perhaps getting a better look at Master Splinter and Shredder may sway some fans.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Visual History has some concept art, and Idle Hands posted the art featuring Shredder and Master Splinter.

I can’t really complain about Master Splinter’s look, since he pretty much stays true to the look of the character. As for Shredder, he reminds me of a metallic version of Super Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Secret of the Ooze. I’m not sure whether these concept art will be the finalized version that we will be seeing in theaters, though.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is being directed by Jonathan Liebesman and stars Megan Fox, Pete Ploszek, Johnny Knoxville, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson, Danny Woodburn, Tony Shalhoub, William Fichtner, Will Arnett, and Whoopi Goldberg. The movie hits theaters on August 8, 2014.
