Keiji Inafune will be a Guest of Honor at Anime Expo 2014!

Anime Expo 2014 is looking to be one of the best ones yet. Aside from a Kill la Kill special event, a Sailor Moon reunion, and the Sword Art Online II premier event, the anime convention has just announced that Keiji Inafune will be joining as a Guest of Honor this year.

Best known as the “Father of Mega Man,” Keiji Inafune began working with Capcom in 1987 where he began as a character designer for the first Street Fighter games, and since then worked on the Mega Man, Biohazard, Onimusha franchises as a producer. He eventually became the Global Head of Production and Head of Research & Development for Capcom before leaving in 2010 to start a new company known as Comcept Inc. where he has worked on titles such as Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, Soul Sacrifice, and Guild02.

Keiji Inafune will be have a Q&A panel talking about his work and plans, including the upcoming Mighty No. 9 which raised over $4 Million dollars in a Kickstarter campaign, and will also have an autograph session at Anime Expo.
