Android 17 and Android 18 human names revealed

The people who bought the sixth volume of the full color Dragon Ball series got a little surprise. It seems like Akira Toriyama is feeling nostalgic this time around when he reveals the human names of Android 17 and Android 18 in a Q&A segment of the manga.

So here it is. Android 17’s human name was Lapis and Android 18’s name was Lazuli. It is a play-on words in Toriyama fashion; you get “Lapis Lazuli” which is a semi-precious blue stone which could be a hint for their eye colors. Before this reveal, we found out who Goku’s mother was. I wonder what other reveals Toriyama will do next.
