Star Wars: Episdoe VII casting isn’t done yet

star wars cast announced

Were you all excited about the casting news for Star Wars: Episode VII today? I know I was with the involvement of Andy Serkis (Dawn of the Planet of the Ape, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy). We’ve got a lot of new faces, along with some familiar ones, but the casting isn’t done yet.

Many sources have been telling The Hollywood Reporter that the space fantasy film has another big role that needs to be filled. The Star Wars films (original and prequel) have been light on the female side, but now we know that director J.J. Abrams is looking for another female role.

So far we have Daisy Ridley filling in the role of a female lead. She is joined by John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow (Minority Report), and of course, Andy Serkis.

And then, we also have this from Latino Review’s Umberto Gonzalez.

What can this possibly mean? Perhaps he missed his flight to London?

I’m just hoping we’ll be getting the same dynamic as we did with the original trilogy with Luke, Han and Leia.

What are your thoughts on the casting news so far?
