Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare coming to PC

Developer PopCap announced this morning that Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, the Third-Person-Shooter offshoot of the insanely popular original game, is finally heading to PC on June 24th. And it seems to be about time too, as it always was peculiar that the game remained an Xbox One exclusive for as long as it did.

Garden Warfare will be available on Electronic Art’s online distribution system, Origin as well as other PC retailers, which may mean that a Steam release is possible (although unlikely). The game will also come shipped with all the DLC that has been released thus far, including the Garden Variety pack and Zomboss Down, along with all the original content in the game itself. However, no word on other PC features, such as mod support, has been noted yet, though chances are it will come with the recently announced micro-transaction system as well.
