Who wants more Marvel movies per year?

Marvel has been making large moves as if late and again it doesn’t look like their going to stop anytime soon. They already have a lot on their plate with Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy being released this year, followed by the definite blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015. I’m seriously having a nerdgasm in anticipation of these upcoming titles already.

Kevin Feige recently sat down with Badass Digest and stated what could be a the possible path of the Marvel movie production company.

“I don’t know that we will necessarily say “Okay, we’re now moving strategically to three a year, now we’re moving to four a year.” What I think is more likely – if [knocks on wood-like table] the next group of movies work and people want to see additional stories – we’ll have too many franchises and you can’t do one of each franchise every two or three years. We’d have to move to three a year.”

This news is INSANE. The production team is going to be working on overdrive if they are going to be pumping out three movies a year! Yesterday night they aired Marvel’s Assembling a Universe, and it showed how they built their entire franchise fromt he ground up with what people termed as “B-List” superheroes since other companies have a hold of their major franchises; despite that setback, look where Marvel is now.

I’ve said it before, and Marvel at the moment is like one of their well known characters “The Juggernaut”(too bad they don’t own this character’s rights). They are moving full steam ahead and nothing is going to stop them on their forward momentum. The only question is if the actors playing their respective roles are still going to return after all their movie contracts are completed. I guess that could mean for possible deaths or only cameo appearances for our current roster of Marvel actors. Whatever the outcome, I’m going to enjoy this ride for as long as it takes.
