Paul Bettany joins Avengers: Age of Ultron as Vision

Marvelites we finally will be getting Vision in the Marvel cinematic universe! According to the Daily Mail, Paul Bettany will be returning to Avengers: Age of Ultron but not as J.A.R.V.I.S. The site is reporting that Bettany will join the cast as The Vision. So throw those Agent Coulson rumors out the window because the “voice of J.A.R.V.I.S.” will suit up alongside the Avengers to battle Ultron.

Westcoast45 The site states “[Paul] Bettany and Jeremy Renner, who plays ace archer Hawkeye, were at Shepperton Studios just outside London this week, meeting with director Joss Whedon. They did a series of costume, hair and make-up tests and worked with stuntmen and armourers.” They continue, “make up experts were using various powders and potions on Bettany’s pale skin to bring about the Vision’s chalk-white complextion.”

While The Vision’s face is typically red, he did have an iteration that was completely chalk white (see left). So I guess you can now expect J.A.R.V.I.S. to embody the android Vision and join an already packed Avengers team of: Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, War Machine and Vision!

What do you think?

Avengers: Age of Ultron destroys theaters on May 1st, 2015.
