This Sunday, French DJ robots, Daft Punk, are set to perform live for the first time in a long time at the Grammys. Seriously, it’s been forever since the robots last performed live on stage. Joining them this time around are Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers and Stevie Wonder and that’s not all!

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the robots will don some authentic Star Wars Stormtrooper helmets on stage during their performance. This isn’t the first time that Daft Punk has delved into the world of Star Wars. Their signature helmets are a bit influenced by Star Wars, they’ve done a photoshoot (seen above) with Stormtroopers and also appeared in an Adidas ad that recreates the famous Cantina scene from A New Hope. Oh, did I mention that the promo poster for “Lose Yourself to Dance” in heavily influenced by Drew Struzan’s Star Wars posters? Needless to say that Daft Punk are big fans of Star Wars.

As for their Grammys performance, the disco super group will run through a medley of songs including Stevie Wonder’s “I Wish”, Chic’s “Le Freak” and, of course, Daft Punk’s megahit “Get Lucky”. Also in the pipeline is a segue into Daft Punk’s “Lose Yourself to Dance.” I can’t wait. Now, if only Daft Punk can finally release some long-awaited tour dates…

The Grammys airs on CBS on Sunday at 8/7C.
