It looks as if we finally have our first casting decision for Star Wars: Episode VII! No it’s not about Cumberbatch, Plemons, Fassbender, Weaving or Driver but it is some good news for fans of the original trilogy. In speaking to TV Guide about her upcoming TV appearances, Carrie Fisher has let it out of the bag that Princess Leia will be returning for Star Wars: Episode VII. In addition, she stated that Luke and Han are coming back as well. All three are set to report to work in March or April.

In speaking about returning as Princess Leia, Fisher said, “I’d like to wear my old [cinnamon buns] hairstyle again — but with white hair. I think that would be funny.”

So far, Hamill, Ford and Fisher are the only actors who have signed on for Episode VII as we’re still awaiting news on other casting decisions.

J.J. Abrams has recently said that the Episode VII script is finally complete, but will the film focus on Han, Leia and Luke’s kids? Only time will tell.

What do you think?

Star Wars: Episode VII makes the jump to lightsp theaters on December 18, 2015.
