DaVinci's Demons, 2014

I’ve been playing a lot of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag lately, and I’m in total pirate mode right now. A new trailer for Starz’s Black Sails is also online. The series takes place during the Golden Age of Piracy (before the events of Treasure Island). We’ll get to see infamous pirates like Charles Vane, Calico Jack, Anne Bonny, and Hornigold along with fictional pirates like Captain Flint and John Silver.

Check out the trailer below.

And for you Assassin’s Creed fans out there, I’d like to think that the higher ups at Starz are playing the series, since Da Vinci’s Demons takes place during the Renaissance like Assassin’s Creed II, and Black Sails takes place during the Golden Age of Piracy like Assassin’s Creed IV. Or it can just be a huge coincidence (but where’s the fun in that?).
