Did the Avengers: Age of Ultron teaser tease Iron Man’s creation of Ultron?

There has been much speculation as to whether or not Tony Stark would be the eventual inventor of Ultron — at the very least made from one of his suits. Some believed that Hank Pym would make a cameo just to create Ultron, even though Edgar Wright has stated that Hank Pym would not be the creator of Ultron.

Looking through the teaser trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, I realized that the signs were there all along that Ultron might in fact be created from one of Tony’s Iron Man suits. I believe the teaser illustrates the Mark VII Avengers helmet assembling to form Ultron’s head. Let’s take a look at the clues in the teaser.

The teaser starts with the front of Iron Man helmet and the next scene (as seen below) showing the forehead region of Iron Man’s helmet getting hammered.

The next scene shows the camera panning around the side of the helmet as you can see with the ear piece on Iron Man’s helmet.

After the camera continues around the side of the helmet, the viewer ultimately sees Ultron’s antennas burst through the earpiece of the helmet. This is by far the most revealing sign that Ultron could be created from the Iron Man suit.

Continuing on, we see the camera pan around the mouth region of the Mark VII helmet as we see more construction done to it.

The teaser ends with the pieces finally coming together to create Ultron’s head.

While Ultron won’t be created from the Mark VII suit — since it was destroyed in Iron Man 3 — the signs are visibly there. Does Don Cheadle’s involvement with Age of Ultron mean the War Machine/Iron Patriot suit will eventually turn into Ultron? Does Tony create a brand new Iron Man suit, which ultimately becomes Ultron? Until we hear anything officially we won’t know for sure just where Ultron originates from — this is all speculation until then.
