Pacific Media Expo 2013 con report and photo gallery

Pacific Media Expo is one of those really chill anime conventions where you can relax and hang out while checking some events (okay, so it’s technically an Asian entertainment convention). It was held at the LAX Hilton in Los Angeles during the November 8th weekend.

To make the best out of the event, it’s wise to show up in cosplay. Some of the events to check out the con are the Masquerade, the unofficial Vocaloid concert, and the┬áBACK-ON concert. Other events anime video rooms, console gaming, Anime Singled Out, martial arts program, panels and workshops.

One of the downsides of having a convention so close to the Los Angeles Airport is the strict cosplay policies. When walking into the LAX Hilton, we were greeted with signs everywhere saying cosplaying with masks is prohibited. So if you want to cosplay a Ninja Turtle or a Power Ranger, forget about it.
