DW 50th: It’s Doctor Who Week!!!

With the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who approaching this Saturday, BBC Worldwide (including BBC One, Two, Three and BBC America) will be launching Doctor Who Week! Not only is it Doctor Who week on BBC, but also on YouTube and other social media websites.

Since it’s Doctor Who week, I will be staying home all week to prepare for my Doctor Who party and watching the awesomeness that BBC America has to offer in regards to Doctor Who. For the full schedule, click here.


Professor Brian Cox holds a model of Doctor Who's TardisTonight, Professor Brian Cox will be discussing the science of Doctor Who at the lecture hall of the Royal Institution of Great Britain. He’ll be looking to see if time traveling is possible, how the TARDIS runs, “whether life exists on other planets, and whether a multi-dimensional craft like the TARDIS could ever exist in a meaningful sense”.


DoctorWhoThis Friday, we will see Mark Gatiss’ produced docudrama, An Adventure in Space and Time about the start of Doctor Who with William Hartnell (played by David Bradley) as the First Doctor.


doctorwhoAnd finally, on the anniversary day: November 23rd… the 50th Anniversary Special: The Day of the Doctor.  We have been covering this episode extensively with numerous posts: The trailers, the prequel The Night of the Doctor, exclusive footage, photos, analysis,  and many other posts regarding this episode.

Since we post many of the trailers and links, I’m going to treat you with Matt Smith, David Tennant and Steven Moffat talking about Doctor Who (brought to you by BBC America).
