The Incredible Corpse – Kickstarter

ewg_corpsegame_logoIn my previous experience playing indie games and investing time in learning and being involved as a developer in that industry, it never ceases to amaze me how much passion arises from these teams. Eyes Wide Games, born in the heart of zombie country, Atlanta, Georgia, previously were involved in franchise-based development, like CSI, Storage Wars, and The Walking Dead – Mobile game. Finally coming to create their own independent IP, they bring you The Incredible Corpse.

ewg_corpsegame_6The Incredible Corpse is a mission-based game that incorporates stealth-play, action and tricky timing puzzles. So if you’re familiar with Thief or Metal Gear Solid, you’re in good hands! The team has been developing a touch & draw system that’s been in production for six months, which allows for gameplay where you will take out aliens, avoid traps, eat brains, hang out with your undead girlfriend, leading up to becoming an ass-kicking zombie hero!

ewg_corpsegame_8Okay, this sounds cool and all. But what’s the point? What’s the story? First, I’m a little hungover (Halloween– long story), so bear with me while I convey the idea to you: A band of aliens have come to Earth and taken everyone’s brains. The mission, should you choose to accept it, is to recover Earth’s brains, decimate enemy bases and be the glorious savior of humanity!
