Hello again, fellow Smiters! The Sun Wukong patch is now live and with it we see a plethora of changes along with the full rework of this masterful god. The patch notes are quite numerous and the full text can be found on Smite’s homepage.

From what I’ve seen and tried, he really is a great jungle bruiser. His gank setup is quite rapid, and the 72 Transformations ability allows for variation when coming in from the jungle. It’s difficult to predict exactly which animal form he will take, so countering can become an issue.

His ultimate can yield hilarious results, such as other gods wasting ults or going all out on a clone, leaving them absolutely vulnerable. Enjoy the reveal folks, his skills are listed just below the video.

  • Undefeated Body (PASSIVE)
When Sun Wukong is below 50% health, he gains +10% critical chance and +20 protections, plus another 1% critical chance and 1 protections for his current level

  • The Magic Cudgel
Sun Wukong’s Magic Cudgel grows in length, and he slams it down, damaging all enemies in front of him. Damage: 90/140/190/240/290 (+50% of your physical power). Range: 55. Radius: 6. Cost: 50. Cooldown: 10s

  • Master’s Will
Sun Wukong strikes around him, damaging and knocking up all enemies in sequence. Damage: 70/110/150/190/230 (+50% of your physical power). Radius: 20. Cost: 60/70/80/90/100. Cooldown: 12s

  • 72 Transformations
Sun Wukong transforms into an Eagle, Tiger, or Ox, and charges forward.
Eagle: Is the fastest of the three forms. Immune to Slow, Root, and Knockup effects.
Tiger: Mauls the first enemy he hits, stunning and causing damage. Damage: 100/170/240/310/380. Stun: 0.6/0.8/1.0/1.2/1.4s.
Ox: Knocks aside all enemies in his path and causes damage. Immune to Slow, Root, and Knockup effects. Damage: 50/90/130/170/210.
    Cost: 65/70/75/80/85. Cooldown: 15s

  • Somersault Cloud
Sun Wukong leaps up onto his cloud, leaving a perfect decoy of himself behind to fight. While on the cloud Sun Wukong is invisible and regenerates health. He may leap off before the cloud duration expires, dealing damage to enemies. The decoy has all of Sun Wukong’s current stats, but only 50% of his physical power. If the decoy dies before it’s timer expires, Sun Wukong becomes visible on his cloud. Leap Damage: 140/190/240/290/340. Cost: 100. Cooldown: 90s
