Game of Thrones beer tasting event coming to Hollywood

Do you enjoy food? Do you enjoy beer? Do you enjoy Game of Thrones? Do you enjoy indulging yourself in food and beer inspired by Game of Thrones? Are you curious as to where you can partake in such an event? Are you wondering why I’m still asking these stupid questions?

Well, you don’t have to worry about that last one, since I’m out of stupid questions. But if you’re looking for the Game of Thrones event, then you can find that over in Hollywood CA, at the Bow and Truss, where they will be hosting an Ommegang Brewing Night.

This Game of Thrones inspired outing will see the restaurant’s normal food fare be taken over by medieval offerings in the style of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, including whole duck, stuffed rabbit, and even a whole cobia fish. Bow and Truss will also be hosting a tasting for Ommegang brewery’s newest addition to their line of Game of Thrones style beer, the Take The Black Stout, inspired by the brotherhood of the Night’s Watch.

The event will be held on Nov 12, and the doors open promptly at 7:00 pm. Admission is $50 a person, and includes dinner and a pouring of the Take The Black Stout. It’s a good idea to arrive early, as the first twenty people will also receive a complimentary Game of Thrones themed beer glass that’s theirs to keep.
