DW 50th: The Day of the Doctor 3D to be shown in cinemas around the world

… except the US, for now.

According to BBC, the 50th Anniversary episode The Day of the Doctor will be shown in 3D in cinemas across the UK, Ireland, Canada, Germany, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and the US.

DoctorWho.TV is providing the locations of the cinemas showing the film on November 23rd at the same time as the UK television broadcast on BBC One (except Australia and New Zealand will get the film the next day on November 24th).

Several cinemas in the UK and Ireland (216 VUE, Cineworld, Odeon, BFI and Picturehous) have confirmed they will be selling tickets that go on sale THIS Friday, October 25th at 9am (their time). Locations include London, Birmingham, Belfast, Dublin, Liverpool, Cardiff and Edinburgh.

And here is the US so far… cinemas in the US are working on their participation in the anniversary special.

The US cinemas and time will be announced soon. So, if you live in the US like I do, please be patient.
