Star Trek Into Darkness Blu-ray doesn’t offer anything unless you PAY for it

Star-Trek-Into-Darkness_ComboEager fans wait no more… seriously… don’t wait. The Blu-ray for Star Trek Into Darkness is out and there are NO major bonus footage or extra stuff for you on it!

What do you mean?

It means… you want to see the extra footage and deleted scenes? You have to PAY for it. On the wide released Blu-ray, they only have seven featurettes available to view. If you want to hear the commentary, you must purchase it on iTunes as an “extra” download. The other featurettes can be found on the Target bonus disc, Best Buy bonus disc and through online video companies like CinemaNow and VUDU downloads.

Star TrekAlthough many companies have done this before, with 2009’s Star Trek having the bonus features AND audio commentary in the same Blu-ray package along with the remastered Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Enterprise having great bonus features, it just doesn’t seem fair.

The movie itself is a good movie and the audio and visual effects are good, but the bonus features are nonexistent. It seems really unfair to spend all this money on a Blu-ray to not get the full features.

I’m not sure what I am going to do. As a Trekkie, I own all the Star Trek movies and I’m not sure which one I am going to purchase because I feel like it’s not really a great deal. So I really need to think about it.
