Ys: Memories of Celceta coming this holiday season

ku-bigpicYs: Memories of Celceta was shown at E3 2013 at the Sony booth as well as the Marvelous USA booth with a TBD release date. I’ve had a chance to check it out, and it’s a very fun game to play, Today XSEED Games announced the game will be releasing holiday season.

Ys: Memories of Celceta is a re-imagining of Ys IV which never made it to the West. It features new modes and abilities made specifically for the PlayStation Vita like touch screen controls that allow you to reposition and zoom the camera and offer commands to your teammates. Adol once again finds himself surrounded on a strange island with no memories of what happened or who he is. There’s also a strange partner who also has no memories as they travel along the island of Celceta searching for answers.

Ys: Memories of Celceta will come in two versions; the standard edition ($39.99) and a Silver Anniversary Edition which will come packaged a bunch of goodies including a 3 CD collection of original and arranged music from the entire Ys franchise, a cloth map detailing the lands of Celceta, a logo-emblazoned compass, and ‘Adol’s Travel Journal’ containing adventuring strategies and artwork, all within an exclusive commemorative package which will retail for $59.99.
