You can’t be familiar with science fiction and fantasy literature without being acquainted with the name Harlan Ellison. His is a name who strikes terror into the hearts of both copyright thieves and overreaching fanboys alike. However, Ellison is most memorable for some of the most well written and best short stories of all time, as well as some of the most highly regarded television scripts ever produced*. His cantankerous demeanor is legendary and his writing as fresh and prescient as ever, and now he finally has an official channel on YouTube.

If you haven’t read any of his short stories, I highly suggest you do so; “Commuter’s Problem” in Ellison Wonderland is a particular favorite of mine. The YouTube page is currently filled with lots of older content, some exclusive commentary, as well curated videos from around the web. You can visit his YouTube page HERE.

*Though he considers the rewritten treatment that made it to air inferior to his original script, Harlan Ellison is credited as writer for the much lauded original series Star Trek episode “The City on the Edge of Forever”.
