Zack Snyder and Frank Miller in talks about the upcoming Superman and Batman movie.

Battle of the capes! Who has the best flowing cape?

We all know that when it comes to rumors in Hollywood, we all usually take it with a grain of salt. However in this recent trend of rumors, there’s word going around that Frank Miller and Zack Snyder are supposedly speaking about the upcoming DC Movie team-up of Batman and Superman. This is all according to The Independant and their inside sources that work with Miller himself. The meeting between Miller and Snyder is supposedly going to happen sometime soon in order “to go over the plans for the Superman film.”; whatever that’s supposed to mean.

Frank Miller and Zack Snyder are no strangers to working with each other. If you haven’t seen the movie 300 (based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel) which was released in 2006, you probably need to get out more. That was one of the best comic book-to-movie adaptations ever to come out. So if these two are collaborating with each other once again, then we can only hope to expect the best possible outcome when it’s released in 2015.

This is going to be one of DC’s biggest upcoming films since the ending of the Nolan and Bale’s The Dark Knight trilogy and Man of Steel. Most of us at San Diego Comic Con had our minds blown when they announced this upcoming crossover, because DC has NEVER put both Batman and Superman on-screen at the same time. In the recent interpretation of Batman and Superman, they’re both respectively dark. ** CAUTION SPOILER** In Man of Steel, Superman actually kills his nemesis at the end by violently snapping his neck. From the Superman we’ve all known on-screen, he’s never killed anyone. Yes in Superman II, he easily defeats Zod and destroys the fortress he was in, however there was no body shown that he killed Zod (this is all up for debate). This new Superman may have finally gone to the “dark side”, but Batman is already dark as can be, so we expect it from him.

Once again going back to these rumors. IF Snyder and Miller are actually going to work together on the film and are actually discussing it; not just sitting there saying things like “Superman and Batman, dude! It’s going to be awesome!” I personally have some misgivings on how it’s going to be executed correctly, but let’s see if these two can work their magic on us once again when the Bat and the Alien finally clash.
