SDCC ’13: Kotobukiya statues to throw your money at

Comic-Con is a place that houses everything nerdy. Everything from comic books to video games can be found under one large exhibit hall, leaving yourself little time to discovery everything. Over at the Kotobukiya USA booth, you can find everything from anime to video games statues, figures and other collectibles.

Back at Wondercon, Kotobukiya announced the Chun-Li and Jun Kazama bishoujo statues, but the company only had a development picture at the time. At Comic-Con the unpainted versions were on display with a 2014 release date. Chun-Li’s statue, who’s looking ready for a fight, looks great.

The Iron Man 3 ArtFX line stands tall and looks amazing. They aren’t cheap, since they are retailing at $129.99 a piece. For the size, weight and detail (especially in the Mk42 armor), these are great for hardcore collectors and Iron Man fans, but there is plenty more in store for Marvel fans as Kotobukiya plans on releasing the classic Avengers.

Along with a new Captain America and Black Widow statue.

IMG_9639Kotobukiya also releases statues and figures from the DC and Star Wars line. Honestly there were so many cool figures and upcoming releases, it makes life tough for a collector.

Even the anime goods looks awesome. I ended up walking out with a couple figures by the end of Comic-Con.
