Turns out that fan fiction can pay off. Literally. Fans of Team Fortress 2 who have been creating and submitting content (thanks to Valve’s Workshop) have actually been getting paid to do it. According to  Valve, the amount has the accumulated payout total of $10 million, not including the $250,000 paid to those who created content for the “Robotic Boogaloo” update.

To sweeten the pot even further, Valve’s decided to improve the function and submission system for the workshop. So if you have an imagination, patience, creativity, an understanding of making 3D models and want to make some cash creating something for Team Fortress 2, check out Valve’s Workshop!
