X-Men Days of Future Past: Quicksilver has been cast!

Director Bryan Singer has officially reported via Twitter who would be playing Quicksilver in his movie X-Men Days of Future Past.

Who is Evan Peters?

Evan Peters is best known for his roles in the FX series American Horror Story, American Horror Story: Asylum, and American Horror Story: Coven. He was also in Never Back Down 1/2 and Kick-Ass.

Since Quicksilver is a mutant (with his twin Scarlet Witch and their dad Magneto), this causes some difficulties putting them in the X-Men franchise and in the Avengers (since they were also in the Avengers). It is unknown if Peters will resume his role as Quicksilver in the Avengers 2 movie.
