Andy Serkis rides a horse for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes director Matt Reeves has posted the first photo from the film. In the photo, Andy Serkis is riding on a horse as Caesar in his mo-cap suit. He and another ape is surrounding Jason Clarke, who plays one of the human leads.
After the events of Rise of the Planet of the Apes, the smart apes flee into the wilderness while humanity gets infected all over the globe. Caesar will lead the apes as they battle against the surviving humans to see who will be the dominant species.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes also stars Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo and Judy Greer. The movie will be out in theaters on May 23rd, 2014.
