30-minute ballet performance of Pokemon?!

There are very few things that still surprise me in this world, and surely a 30-minute ballet rendition of Pokemon did the trick. The ballet was performed at the Creighton Lied Arts Center in Omaha, New England. The opening act starts off just like any Pokemon game, you are introduced to Professor Oak and he informs you about the magical world of Pokemon. Following your introduction, you get to meet the Professor’s douche of a grandson, and naturally a rivalry is born.

The ballet even does a good job of illustrating Pokemon Battles. Through the dancers’ moves, you can almost make out what looks like a Tail Whip and a Thunderbolt. The performance even uses many memorable theme songs from the game. It’s a pretty long video, but more than worth sitting through for any fan.
