Reviving one of its popular programs, AFI has released its lineup for a special one-night-only event, “AFI Night at the Movies,” at ArcLight Hollywood on April 24th. Originally created back in 2007, AFI hasn’t taken place in 5 years. The event consists of 12 classics, with each film being introduced by the stars of the film. Check out the list below!

Kathy Bates presenting Misery (1990)
Cher presenting Moonstruck (1987)
Sally Field presenting Norma Rae (1979)
Peter Fonda presenting Easy Rider (1969)
Harrison Ford presenting Blade Runner: The Final Cut
Samuel L. Jackson presenting Pulp Fiction (1994)
Shirley MacLaine presenting Terms of Endearment (1983)
Demi Moore presenting Ghost (1990)
Mike Myers presenting Shrek (2001)
Sidney Poitier presenting In the Heat of the Night (1967)
Kurt Russell presenting The Thing (1982)
Kevin Spacey presenting The Usual Suspects (1995)

Tickets to the event go on sale April 11 at ArcLight’s website. All screenings are $30 including popcorn and a soda and can be purchased at website or in person at the ArcLight box office, 6360 West Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90028. All film programs will begin at 7:00 p.m and doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

Keep in mind that all films will start at 7pm, meaning you will have to choose ONE out of the 12 great films on the list. It is up to you, the viewer, to decide which film to watch. It’s a tough choice but there is no wrong answer with any of these classic films. I mean who wouldn’t want to see Harrison Ford, Han Solo and Indiana Jones, himself present Blade Runner, or the bad motherf*cker himself Sam Jackson present Pulp Fiction. Even Kurt Russell my favorite actors as a kid – mostly because of the totally awesome Big Trouble in Little China – is going to be there. By the way, if you haven’t seen any of these films I suggest you check them out, they’re classics for a reason.
