Don’t have a girlfriend? No problem! A Hugging Coat is all you need!
Oh Japan, you’ve done it again.
I’d seriously pay money to have someone audibly engineer that soundbyte. Why? Because people in Japan always seem to be doing extraordinary things that boggle the hell out of my mind; like say for instance, the “Hugging Coat” developed by a group of students over at the University of Tsubaka.
What does it do exactly? It simulates what it feels like to be hugged by a girl from behind while playing a couple anime-ish soundbytes through a pair of headphones. It works by strapping on a belt that’s connected to the coat and just letting the apparatus take “hold” of you.
Personally I could see a lot of uses for this, since I’d probably put this on one of my drunk friends and then watch them scream in terror thinking that someone is attacking them from behind. Of course that’s just me. And sadly you can’t buy this coat in stores…yet.
