Star Trek Continues web series to premiere at Phoenix Comic Con


Phoenix Comic Con will be the place to be for Star Trek fans come the evening of May 24th. Star Trek Continues, a new fan-made web series that picks up where the original series left off, will be premiering it’s first episode “Pilgrim of Eternity.”

The series is being produced by Farragut Films in association with Vic Mignogna, who is doing double duty portaying Captain Kirk as well. Mignogna is a longtime Star Trek fan and accomplished voice actor, musician, and graphic designer. Additionally, Todd Haberkorn, who is best known for his voice over work in the world of anime, will be portraying the logical Mr. Spock. Larry Nemecek, an accomplished author of several Star Trek books, will be depicting Dr. Leonard “Bones” McCoy, who happens to be his favorite character. The late James Doohan’s (the original Montgomery Scott) son Chris Doohan will be playing Scotty, Grant Imahara of Mythbusters fame will be portraying Hikaru Sulu, actress Kim Stinger will be recreating the character of Nyota Uhura, and Wyatt Lenhart will be reproducing the role of Pavel Chekov.

Fans who attend the premiere will be excited to find that many of the actors in the series will be in attendance as well!
