Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary special: David Tennant and Billie Piper are IN!

Doctor Who Tennant

The Official Doctor Who Twitter has posted a photo of David Tennant (the 10th Doctor) and Matt Smith (current 11th Doctor) during a 50th Anniversary Special read through!!!

What else is exciting?!?! BILLIE PIPER (Rose) is returning for the special too!!!! Whaaaaaaa?!?!

This will be the first time Tennant and Piper has returned to Doctor Who since his regeneration in 2010.

I know what everyone is thinking… how will this be possible?

Here is my prediction:

Since it would be bad for space and time continuum if the two Doctors were to meet, I think Tennant isn’t going to be playing our lovable 10th Doctor. It may be Donna-Doctor (the Doctor with one heart) living with Rose Tyler and they meet the Doctor and Clara. A part of me hopes for this because I’d love to see Rose’s life with the Doctor (even though it isn’t THE Doctor… it’s Tennant).

The special – which includes John Hurt – will begin filming this week in the UK and was written by head writer Steven Moffat and directed by Nick Hurran. It is set to air in November.

I cannot wait.

Doctor Who premiered this past weekend and will air on Saturdays at 8pm on BBC America.
